How do we RISE as a city?
One individual at a time. University High graduate, LaDainian Tomlinson, tells you how it was possible for him. At Rise Up! Waco, the newly elected Pro Football Hall of Famer shares his personal story, and why it matters to the citizens of Waco. Come for an evening of fine food and wine and celebrate how generations of Wacoans can be helped to Rise Up! Proceeds of the event benefit Talitha Koum Institute, a mental health, brain development program for extreme-risk children, birth to five.
Join us! April 4, 2017. 6:30pm at the Pavillion. The evening will include a farm-to-table family style dinner, catered by Olive Branch. Followed by a message from our guest speaker and live auction.
Our guest speaker for the evening is LaDainian Tomlinson, Pro-Football Hall of Fame, Class of 2017. Best known as "LT," the San Diego Charger was the NFL's 2006 MVP and is 2nd in NFL history for rushing touchdowns.
